The little guy drying in the sun after his bath:

He is such a sweetheart. I am smitten.

We are fostering a six-week old yorkie puppy that was born without eyes...

I am in heaven...

Daisy has a new ritual. Every evening she comes to my chair and sits. And sits. And stares. Until I get up and give her a piece of cheese. I know I should not give in to her begging, but please, she is just too cute.

Tonight, however, I was too weary to get up out of my chair. She hung in there for a bit before she began to collapse.

Clouds after the storm:

We had a rare weekend of May thunderstorms. I am so bored. I feel way too old to have spring fever this bad. I hope we get some yummy puppies soon. All of my troubles would be cured with a little puppy breath.

A few photos of the scrappy kitties:

Ack. I had a severe allergic reaction to the kitties.

They had to leave.

I will post some photos later when my mood is better.

Wildcats!

Tomorrow we will begin fostering three feral kittens!

Our job will be to tame them so they can be adopted.

I am way too excited about it.
Eeew...she didn't look like that from across the room. Incidentally, this is the only chair she is allowed on. We don't want her getting too big for her britches.

Jane always stops and poses when I have the camera. Can she really be that smart?

How totally cute are these doggie pawprints? That's what we get for playing in the street.

Little Fuzzie has been adopted. I know she will be so happy living in her new home with smaller dogs.

She tolerated Jane and Daisy, but I could tell she was just waiting for them to kill her.

The fostering was way more work than I expected, and I vowed to take a break after she left. But I am already getting restless for more dogs.

Excuses

Why I am not vacuuming the house right now:

"The dogs are sleeping so peacefully. I don't want to wake them."
Oh, dear. The dog is five years old and is not potty trained. And she doesn't clean herself. It's like I have a baby, except without diapers.

Anyway, I am so, so tired. I think tomorrow she will spend the day in the backyard! I will sit out there with her if I have to...anything to not have to clean up one more mess.

I love, love, love my own dogs. They each have had only two accidents in the house in two years!

Well, I am off to sleep...until Fuzzie wakes up.
