Jaime Update: After the Surgery

He just had his front leg removed on Friday and is already up and
around, running, jumping, playing...dogs sure know how to handle
things! :)

Backstory for those here from a Google search: Foster dog Jaime was born with a birth defect in his front, right leg. His bones were not attached to the joint. The vet felt he would do better without the leg as he was leaning down on his "elbow" when he was walking.

Dogs do so well with just three legs, and he actually has more mobility without the leg getting in his way. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Email address is in the sidebar.

Mixed Bag

Two willing pups and two unwilling kids. Haley was speaking ill of the
photographer, and Morgan just got up and walked out of the room. So
dogs and Annie are all I have left to photograph.

Jaime-9 Weeks Old (Updated)

Update: Jamie just got adopted! He is going to a wonderful home with two big sister shepherds. :)

Hopalong (Now Jaime)

Okay, the new plan is this boy tomorrow. He has a leg that doesn't work, and the vet is recommending amputation. I haven't seen him walk yet, but I have seen many three-legged dogs and they seem to do fine on just three.
