The End of...

...a long day.

And Daisy, pretending this isn't happening to her.

Drumroll...blogroll!

Blogger has a new blogroll thingy...look over there to the right.

I am way too thrilled about it. It imported my favorite blogs from Google Reader...I didn't have to type them all in!

I am lazy!

Heh.

Jane with the little one:

Definitely happy dogs!

Puppy has taken to biting the heck out of Jane and Daisy. They are surprisingly patient with him. Even though they are fixed, they seem to have their maternal instincts intact.

Back Home Again

The good news is that we didn't get caught smuggling Chandler into the hotel. He was so, so good. No accidents. No barking.

The dog parade was so fun. I have never met so many wonderful, sweet dogs. Supposedly there were over 1,400 dogs there and not a cranky one in the bunch. The people were great as well.

The best part for me was when Chandler met Cesar Millan.

And the second best part was digging through the Big Dogs clearance bins. I got slippers, a dog collar, a tote bag, two mouse pads, a stuffed penguin, for Morgan, a stuffed bunny for Chandler, a water bottle holder for Annie, a fleece blankie for Chandler and a wallet for Haley all for only $13.00.

Afterwards, we trucked out to see our Cousin Jill at her ranch in, umm, gotta lookup where it was again. But the point is we saw her horses, miniature donkey, chickens and dogs. More dogs!

I will post pics tomorrow after I have slept a long, long time.

We are supposed to leave for Arizona in a couple of weeks. I can't even think about going anywhere else right now.

I love my home, sweet home.

We are off to Santa Barbara for the Big Dogs Parade. They are expecting 1400 dogs, so it should be quite the adventure.

Little Pup is going with us, but he will be carried in a baby sling to keep him away from the other dogs and germ-free.

Our big dogs are staying with Grandma because we couldn't get a room at a pet-friendly hotel. We will be smuggling the little one into the hotel. So rebellious.
Meeps...puppies are a lot of work. I am exhausted.

He is so, so much fun, though. We need to get him some chew toys because he is getting his molars and chewing on our hands.

He adores Tim and started pawing to get out of the crate when he heard his voice.

Jane and Daisy still don't know what to make of him. He started chewing on Jane's bone, and she gave him the back-off stare. When he didn't respond, she got really freaked out and ran off.

I don't know if they can tell that he cannot see, but I think if he stays around here for long, he will end up the top dog.

We are toying with the idea of keeping him. He is exactly the kind of dog Annie has always wanted, and his blindness just makes him more adorable. He looks like a stuffed doggie whose eyes have come off.

His temperament is really good, as well. He is playful and cuddly, but he also likes to have time alone.

Well, I better get to sleep before the baby wakes up...:)
